Do you know what length spindle you need?

Also, on the AW shell: 36H or 40H? They turn up on ebay pretty frequently, and the prices are all over the place in the $10 - $100+ range.

dia compe non-aero brake levers w/ gum hoods

Mafac cantilevers have a similar arrangement where one prong has to be long. I was able to bend a Shimano spring to work but it doesn't use the existing hole in the lever.

Ah, good idea. I'm gonna email them in a minute.

Actually, I realize I'm missing this spring because many months ago I traded some stuff with nlerner including a tektro canti brake-- I must have sent one wrong spring (the one I need) because I still have one of the tektro ones. Do you still have it, neal? I'd be happy to send you the right one!

That was quite a while ago... so it may be gone...

Under further investigation, the right lever is cracked at the cable guide. PM sent though.

That can often be dependent on the manufacturer. I have two Columbus SL bikes one takes a 27.2mm and the other takes a 27.0mm. I know SL is not SLX, but just giving an example.

Hey John, might you have any 10speed cassettes for Campy? I'm in need of some bigger ones for junior gearing compliance.

True, depends on the manufacturer's reaming I guess. holiday might want to check if an overtightened binder deformed the opening, though. I know this is obvious to many, but figured I'd say it anyway.

For trade: A big box of junk! Well, in particular, a box of Shimano Light Action and SIS derailleurs, mostly rears. Some have alloy cages, some steel. Some just need a good cleaning, some are for parts. This was as much as I could fit in a medium flat rate box, so shipping is $12. https://www.flickr.com/photos/59531616@N06/5446680257/

What I want: Mostly, these gone, so make me similarly junk-y offers (I prefer European junk to Japanese).

In somewhat unrelated matters, I need a rear (inner) cage plate for a 72 Nuovo Record RD, and would be willing to trade all sorts of non-junk for one.

Hey... I have (3) SLX bikes...(2) of them take 27.2 (Reus, De Rosa) and the Bat Pro takes a 27.0...

Also, my SL bike (Pinarello) takes a 27.0 and my SPX (Greg Lemond) takes a 27.2...FWIW.

Hi Brian:

Yup, I took a long and hard look at these but they are substantially different. This build is for an Opus III and would like to stay with period correct parts as much as possible. This may prove futile but for now, part of the plan. Thank you for the link.

Hmm...I thought the ones with that lettering style were only one size...not well versed in them though. I'll pull the remaining one off and measure it...

OK...Just measured it...21.7xmm OD measured across threads with calipers...6mm depth...5mm hex key...chromed.

TIA
