They happen in many cities in the U.S. A friend of mine’s daughter got married at the Constitution Center the day of the ride. After the ceremony the guests filed out onto the outdoor patio above the street just as the ride went by. It was a big hit.

Generally speaking, cycling pants are tight-fitting, and a layer of sponge pad is sewn on the crotch. In addition to absorbing sweat and reducing wind resistance, it also reduces hip damage and improves riding comfort.

The material of the cycling pants is easy to export the sweat from the body to the outside, keeping the skin dry. The inner thigh of the cycling pants and the part of the material in contact with the seat bag are relatively special, which can avoid friction between the top tube and the inner thigh when bending.
I do enjoy the layer of sponge pad and material being in contact with my seat bag

If anyone has worn out their sponge pad and is shopping for new pants to prevent riding the butt hurt the aerotech impulse is nice and has a pocket to hold you half empty bottle of dumpster vodka

The seat bag's connected to the inner thigh,
The thigh is rubbing on the top tube,
The top tube's connected to the seat tube,
The seat tube's connected to the seat,
and the sponge pad is sewn to the crotch.

Dem pants, dem pants,
They gotta ride,
Dem pants, dem pants
They gotta ride,
Dem pants, dem pants,
They gotta ride
Now listen to the hurting of the butt

If there was a cycling pants sub-forum, I'd think this post could be a sticky.

Can the cycling pants accommodate a golf club for say, a five minute ride, including multiple curb hops?

Everyone should disreguard this thread. According to 4 or 5 of the usual suspects that post here, DF bikes are totally comfortable in all respects. Anyone reporting pain while riding a DF bike is hallucinating, and just being a troll.

Q: What does a recumbent seat smell like?

A: Depends.

They are comfortable as long as the bike and the rider are both set up correctly.
