Having just this week finished building up my 1989 Bottecchia..
....and having this 89 designed jersey to wear...
...I may have gotten a bit carried away with the red and white theme as today some more goodies arrived. Red Mavic shoes (Mavic was the TDF winning groupset in 89, and their only win ever)
And 2 of these water bottles from my local bike co-op, Brixton cycles, who's logo is modeled on the Jamaican beer 'Red Stripe'
At least drivers are going to have a have a problem using the 'sorry mate I didn't see you' excuse

Not exactly a purchase.
New to me, 2010 Specialized Tricross Comp in immaculate condition. I made an even swap with the "seller" for my 2011 Cannondale Synapse 5. I wanted a softer, more comfortable ride at age 62. Both bikes were specc'ed the same except the brakes which are tektro Mini V on this bike. The seller is a mechanic and we test rode each other's bike together and made the swap afterwards. I am very happy with it.

Yeah, I know I did. The "seller" wanted a proper road bike and was offering the swap so I figured I'd give it a try.
I love the ride. Between the wider tires and the zertz inserts as well as the carbon rear triangle, the ride is noticably smoother and far more comfortable.
I was skeptical until I rode it.

Shelby, TC, I got this. Stop looking for things to whine about, and leave this thread unless you have a purchase to post.
