Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Fortunately no storms here, which cast sticks all over the lawn.

Time to mow.

I’ll bet that’s worse case scenario assuming no more damage this evening.

Can confirm. Somehow sloths have been popping up all over for me - Nailed It, FB post from an old coworker, and this shirt. All in the past couple of days.

You know when you have to mouth-siphon gasoline and you get a little in your mouth? How long does it take for that yucky taste in your mouth to go away?

Asking for a friend.

Jadesfire It's coming right now. I had a dr. appt, at 8, in Merida, and it allowed us that window. We are due to get big rain and some wind over the next 24 hours, before it heads out across the Gulf

And as it turns out, they assigned the wrong consultorio. #20 , when it should have been #18 . So I went into the hospital, for no reason, while the covid rages out of control. Next try is Tuesday.

It is now raining in four locations inside the house. There are many in the same state of affairs, including one friend who just had her roof sealed. Is is difficult to completely seal flat concrete roofs( rooves?) against the quantities of rain we are having. I have personally recorded 7" during the past week.
There was an eight day period, during our first year in the Belizean rain forest, when I recorded 22". A personal record

No idea, you delinquent. Next time, ask your neighbor nicely for some from his lawn mower can instead of stealing it from his car.

Can confirm, "rooves".

As for shaming, I doubt anyone was meaning it any more seriously than my bike being firmly in the "fredly" category. Here's another.
