I live in Minnetonka, sometimes refered to as Tonka. It is also the home of Tonka Toys......remember those?
I have two sons, 6 and 11 and our main sport is dirtbike racing. On the way to a race last summer we stopped for lunch with some freinds and one of them said "hey, it's team Tonkaboys". I guess it kind of stuck.

No one cares
my handle means "one with poor impulse control and complete lack of spelling and proofreading skills who was born in 1976" in Swahili. My avatar is a bike, perhaps you've heard of them?

Well, I've been poking my nose in here for a little while, getting ideas for my own bikes and admiring others', and this thread seems like a good place to pop in. My username is how my first name is spelled - with a "K", as in "Knife". Most people assume it's spelled with a "C".

The feeling of taking the bike down and accelerating is priceless..

However, the wifee is cutting down on my racing bit, and shoving me on the bicycles.. Loving the C&V bikes.
No, no racing bicycles.. Too dangerous!!!

Embarassingly Simple
My screen name is a combination of parts of my first and last names.
The avatar photo impresses me. I've always been fascinated by sharks. My dad was an avid off-shore fisherman, and we've seen and hooked a few accidentally over the years (never brought into the boat, though, a rule). I saw a documentary studying the agility of Great White sharks in pursuit of seals. Breathtaking was how I'd describe it. This is a still shot of what is likely to have been a successful strike. Among my worst fears of how to die - this ranks at the top. By far...

and to make a long story short. The name was shortened from atomicdad which I was tagged with by the nurses at the NICU my son spent some time in after he was born.
The av is a bad cell phone pic of my left hand at the doctors office. The doc took the bandages off to check that the area where he put three pins wasn't getting infected. Shattered base of the 5th metacarpal, it was truly one of those "Hey boys watch this one" bike moments.
Best part was when the Ambulance came down the street, all the neighbors came rushing worried that it was their kid hurt to see a 42 year old layed out in the street and the common response, "Oh, it's just Dan." Earned some major street cred from all the kids on the street, so I've got that going for me.

Some friends jokingly referred to me as King of the Ozarks (I live on Lake Ozark) and I like the gerund "ozarking" (n - enjoying the Ozarks). Avatar is Einstein on a bike.

Little Darwin is an ironic name... My biological father's side of the family hadn't seen me for years, and the last they saw of me, I was "Little Darwin" and my dad was just Darwin... I liked the name, since I am twice the size of my father now...
My avatar... I'll have to edit and add a description, because I forget what I am using now.
Edit: My current avatar is me a little over 50 years ago, from an old picture I found when digging through my mom's stash. The full picture shows a rocking horse, and my toy rifle.

My username is just an abbreviation of my first/last names. It's the same on eBay and a few other sites since I've been online forever.
The avatar is my design spec for Ruby (recapturing the bike from my teens in my size)

500mi R/T to Birmingham for the bike.
Picture enjoying Mardi Gras.
Leaves Mobile or Pensacola areas.
You're leaving little crumbs behind whether you realize it or not.
I'm going to say look for the lass on the blue French Peugeot mixte in Fairhope?

I entered a race once when I was 16, and didn't really like it. But I love just cruising along, that wonderful fluid feeling of gliding over the road.

Said stalker is merely pathetic and annoying and will look for specific usernames. If he was dangerous, I would not have left those crumbs and cops would be involved. I'm aware that I've only made myself slightly more difficult to spot.

Muttley comes from the cartoon character. A dog that is a pilot, which is my profession. I've had that handle on web boards since the '90's. My avatar? Well I've had it since the "Drew" thread was started, so I guess I don't have to explain it.

I roadraced through the 80s and into the 90s before $$$ and clear thinking caught up with me. There is NOTHING in the world like the feel of dragging your knee through a 100+ mph corner and knowing you nailed it!
I envy you for continuing at your age what I miss so much, even though I would not do it while I have young children to be here for. I have seen too many die in this sport.
Have fun and be safe.
