Lejeune in Cincinnati. If pics are gone, listing is gone.

https://cincinnati.craigslist.org/bik/3570470479.html

"LEJEUNE" Champagne racing bicycle, has 27" racing tires. This bike is all original and in very good condition... actual age is estimated to be early 1980's.

This is not your average 12spd bike, it is/was a professional French racing bike to what we have learned about it in our research. We're happy to give anyone the information needed to identify the bike.

We were able to learn most everything about the bike except for its value..

Open to cash offers..

Cool bike. The brake lever positioning is comical, though.

Not exactly a wealth of information here, but a cheap bike that maybe could be converted into a decent tourer

No problem...glad this bike gets a good home. It's kind of like rescuing an animal and finding a nice new family for it.

I'm halfway interested in that Lejeune. It looks big and might fit me (6'5") Any rough guesses on what something like that is worth? I have not a clue.

[h=2]RARE 1972 Vintage Italian LEGNANO 10 Speed Road Bike Campagnolo 56cm - $1 (hayward / castro valley)[/h]
If you have been looking for a great bike to commute with, ride around campus, or use for regular exercise I have the bike for you. DO NOT pay thousands for a new bike when you can have a refinished classic that is as classy as a bike can be. RARE 1972 Legnano built with Reynolds 531 tubing (best of the times), beautiful brazed lugs, and era correct Campagnolo components throughout including seat post, brake levers, Strada cranks, pedals,rear derailluer, front derailuer, bottom bracket, headset and hubs. The brakes are original Universal 61 center pulls. Comes with original Brooks Professional saddle as well. Bike has been refinished and is ready to go with new decals, grease, and adjusted ready to ride. The pictures are sans pedals and chain but they were installed just after photos were taken. Please leave me your contact info and I will reply promptly.

Asking $525

Is that one of the Tenax frames? Ole is roughly Cyclone in white finish.

Looks like a bargain with the XT, put some road tires on it = instant commuter.

Yep , and although that white isn't as pretty as Sante, I'm still drawn to it!

I was hoping to convince my roommate who is without a bike and doesn't quite fit any of mine to pick it up, but I don't think he is going to anytime soon. Damn it for not being a 21"!
