Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Always a lot of traffic and two stop lights, i’d say it’s about a half a mile long. On the madone I usually get up to 32-35 mph easily without my heart rate going above 167. Today I could go any faster than 24 mph, out of the saddle on the drops.
Both my brakes have a slight rub, I have tried time and time again to squash that to no avail, but could that really be causing that much more effort? That’s gunna be an issue since this my race bike at the moment.

I wish I was better with bikes, and had the time. I would love to just completly dismantle it and rebuild it.
I think that your perception is playing games with you, frankly. The power power delta between 24mph and 32+ is big. Really big - you're *not* losing that to the bike. I'm sure that the bikes feel way different, though, and that's going to play in to impression of both speed and effort relative to speed; you're not slogging as much as you think you are on the Cervelo and you're not effortlessly laying waste to the tarmac on the Madone - it's just that the different feedback from the bikes is shaping your perception.

Since you don't have power on the Cervelo, take a look at recent rides and compare Av HR and speed between both bikes. My bet is that, adjusted for HR/effort, they're going to be very, very close.

As far as Super Bowls go, I don't find much in this matchup to be terribly compelling. Usually, I want to see one team win and/or I want to see one team lose. I don't really care either way, this time around.

See, no one is cheering for the Rams.

I'm sure that some people would be happy to see Stafford win after his long-suffering tenure with the Lions.... maybe.

I'm with the Bengals simply because Joe Burrow is from my adult life home town.
Normally I would root for the old guy. Stafford in this case.

I remember the one in 1982 with Montana against Anderson. I had started a job at an independent garage where I was the only one in the shop who spoke English. Two owners, one was a coke head. It was a very lonely experience. They had a Spanish newspaper with pics from the Superbowl and the guys were trying to help me read it. IIRC someone grabbed Andersons' face mask and almost pulled his head around. Don't remember much else about the game.

They let me go after I think one or two weeks. They said I was too fast and scarfing up too much work and the other guys objected. Plus, the guy I replaced wanted to come back.

Same, Pats aren’t in, so I hoped the Bills could get it done for their long suffering fan base but with them, Brady and Mahones out I’m not too interested.

No time like the present to learn. I feel the same way. I may strip and re-build the R3 as a learning exercise. For some reason, not getting as many bites on it as I hoped

how much and what size?

The issue isn’t my technical experience, the issue is time and my wife’s perception of how I use it. If I am doing yard work there is nothing wrong with me working from sun up to sun down. Second I start doing anything with a bike she starts asking when I will be done after about 30 mins. This causes me to rush and that’s when I make mistakes.

I watched that one in a bar in Sacramento. I was the only Bengals fan in the place.

I awoke at 3:30, in part due to dog noise and in part due to being cold. My wife missed the testing cut-off on Friday, and is asymptomatic, so I can't go crawl in with her and warm up. I took a hot shower instead. My sister and bil are sleeping in separate rooms for similar reasons. They have a brand new granddaughter and he was exposed recently.
