Here is my 1980 412. All original except for the hoods, bar tape, tires, brake pads, and wheels due to a catastrophic blowout that mushroomed the rear Rigida.
Fully restored before the blowout
Original condition when purchased off craigslist
Current incarnation with new wheels.

I love that deep metallic blue! You can see "into" it!
It really, really looks awesome and I'm surprised I missed the original rebuild thread!

Thanks. Had the painter mix two kinds of metallic blue and he gave me the leftover mix so I can touch up whenever needed. I was really impressed with it myself.

As found pic of the new to me 620. Picked it up earlier today. A good enough bike to put NOS Grand Randonneurs on. A set of smoked anodized 600 levers seemed like the right touch.,,,,BD

Thanks, No i havent posted to many pictures it fell victim to a single speed conversion with flat bars. currently is stripped down to a bare frame and I am working on finding parts for it to turn it back into a proper road bike.

I registered for this site just to ask this question. I have a trek 311 frame witht he Ishwata tubing. I am currently trying to track down a downtube shifter mount/clamp. Where can I find one?

You mean like a SunTour or Shimano clamp-on shifter mounts? They are all over the place. I'm sure people here have some. I think I have a set of Shimano clamp on shifters.

I'm plaNing to use Shimano sis from another build. I assumed it had to be a specific clamp because of the spade like braze on on the underside of the down tube

Nope. The clamp just goes above the little bump. They come in all different shapes. Many bikes don't have them at all, as well.
I'm not an SIS person, but I think I've only seen braze-on or stem mount SIS shifters. Others will know better. I suggest you start a new thread if you're on a quest for such a beast.

A little cleaner and a little shinier. I have the Brake cables run but not hooked up yet. I used black housing, and surprisingly it doesn't look half bad. I am in the anything but black housing crowd usually. I also have the black hoods, and some repurposed black perforated Fizik wrap. Saddle undecided so far. The Vetta sagged so much just on a short ride around the yard, that it had wrinkles from side to side. Kind of a bummer about, since I love the way they look. I just have had no luck getting comfortable on one yet. Thinking Avocet, possibly. Maybe something else, but has to be vintage or at least vintage styled.
The pivot points on the second Duopar parallelogram are pretty loose, but that's what I read about them beforehand so I'm not heartbroken over it. It would be nice to keep it on there, but it may get another set of derailleurs. I also was planning to use the Retrofriction shifters on this bike finally, but the pull seems to be less than most other shifters I've used. The spool on the lever is smaller, so it seems to take a LOT more shift lever movement to make the derailleur move. The one time I tried to use it, the lever was almost all the way back by the time to big cog was obtained.,,,,BD
YES!! I found someone willing to straighten the fork. I will probably be dropping it off later this week, and it might be a week or so before I get the bike back. If he can do it, I am not going to rush him. Everybody is SO scared to do anything anymore. No bike shops even wanted to hear about it, and even one local frame builder respectfully declined. Everyone is so sue happy, it's a wonder anything gets done anymore. It's the same guy who built the wheels for my 520. A true old school bike mechanic of the steel era.

I got a chance to take her for the first time out on Easter. What a fun bike! Very aggressive geometry but much more stable than my Gazelle. This bike is great in the drops and when attacking out of the saddle.

Rides really nice. Plenty of fender room... I swapped to a classic XT/LX mix, that came standard on many factory setups. I need the black and silver cranks... I tightened up the headset which wasn't super loose, an the fork look improved. Enough to where I may just leave it alone.

Got the 1220 sorted and on the road. Very comfortable, plenty stiff laterally. The cheap(GT OEM) carbon fork is just right, got lucky on that one. Corners like it's on rails, one of those bikes where you can actually feel what the front contact patch is up to mid-corner. 8^)
