^Thanks, Auchen.
Btw, in case anyone else is looking for a replacement tail light (or other hard to find item), I got mine from "planete-design", a seller on French ebay. Ebay.fr storefront link: https://stores.ebay.fr/planetedesign. The seller had a bunch of them at the time of my purchase. They were listed as for sale in France only, but I wrote a nice note in French (Je parle un peu de Franηais) to the seller and he agreed to ship the tail light to the U.S. The seller has lots and lots of cool old French bits & bobs.

Here is another Peugeot project that is finally underway. It's a PR 10 from 74 or 75, from what I can tell. Another frame/fork that's getting a mixed bag of parts.
Scozim gifted me this Simplex SX 410. Thanks Scott.
Catnap, you might recognize this setup(universal 61 brakes & unknown rack).. Thanks. Note that fine paint detail on the fork crown...
A PX 10 donor supplied some pieces

i just bought this today for $40. so far ive figured out that its a Motobecane Mirage with a Mixte frame.
the year i dont know, it has coderless cranks so later than early 70s, but it still has the 27 inch tires that were popular during the 70s bike boom.
i have to post another picture after the restoration

If I can go, the green bike will get set up for Cino.
Thanks. They sat on the shelf for a few months, but I finally have a frame for them. Nice pieces they are

Thanks. (I forgot I'd already posted my Look on this thread. At least I made several changes to the bike before posting it again.) So, to do the two-color wrap, I started at the ends and worked my way up to the hood with the blue tape. I then ended the blue tape on the inner side of the brake hood body. I started the red tap on the outer side of the hood body. I then wrapped a piece of electrical tape around the hood body so that it secured both the end of the blue tape and the beginning of the red tape. Make sure the tape is all the way hidden under the hoods. Then I continued to wrap the red tape up toward the stem. I will add that the hoods on my bike were in excellent condition and still very soft. This allowed me to pull back the hoods in order to wrap/secure the handlebar tape to the hood body. If you need to pull the hoods back, be careful not to tear them. Another option is to mount the levers in position, and then remove the hoods from the clamp. Then wrap the bars and reinstall the levers on top of the tape. This may not work with thick tape such as Cinelli cork.

1975 PR 10
I finally made this a roller. I haven't ridden it yet, but I am positive there will be a few bugs to work out. I'm still working on the wheel/tire that will go on here, these pictured are borrowed from another bike. This hasn't been a very straightforward build..
Seat, stem, and bars are not adjusted

Thanks rootboy. It's been an interesting project. Your Motobecane is a real beauty, very elegant.
I want to thank a few members for their help on this, much appreciated:
