Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I have retina doctor in the middle of the day so... trainer for me.

For those keeping count, I've had 18 eye injections but the doc thinks he may give me eye a rest for a month. I've got my fingers crossed.

I am aware that my sig once again contains a mis-spelled word. Fixing it though, makes the sig too long, according to BF. A sad state of affairs for an otherwise fine website. I got used to doing what ever I wanted, with the years long premium membership I had. I lost three years, prepaid, when I became seedsbelize2. It's not too long, per se; it has too many lines. I went as far as re-booting the site, twice, and then re-booting the computer. Nothing. For those of you keeping score on your spreadsheets, a) I am not, in fact, fully back to good health, and 2) the internet and I have ceased having any pretensions of getting along in a civil manner.

Reading that canyon thread, makes me glad I did not hold out for the aeroad.

Interestingly enough, my local trek dealer mentioned they were working on getting authorization to work on canyon bikes. So many people are bringing them in with problems in my local area, not sure how all of that works.

Is the warranty void if a LBS works on a canyon?
Before the Domane, I looked long and hard at the Endurace, but read too many anecdotal stories about experiences with Canyon's service. Those stories put me off the brand.

You can take that to the bank and 5G is even better.

I read a study back in the 90s where they strapped microwave emitters over people’s ears to warm the brain a little and found cognitive improvement. That’s another seldom advertised benefit.
