Quick release and disc brakes are only an issue if you are constantly removing and reinstalling your wheels. Even that is over stated. Worse case you just have to readjust your brake calipers which takes all of 30 seconds. My cross/road bike has the same setup and other than finding wheels easily I don't really see a problem. If you like the bike and it is a good deal you can always just have a set of wheels built up.

LOL. I have 3 ti bikes and a 4th frame is being welded up for my as I type. Ti gets on my nerves.
