Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I think I took whyfi on it he was here last time. Super steep climb out.

Are you talking about dip in the road up to the reservoir? You can get a little head of steam going on that one, but it's pretty tame. It is pretty tree-covered, too - I don't know that I'd trust GPS speed figures. I'll make sure my wheel sensor is online the next time I'm there and we'll bomb it

Yes that dip in the woods. Also know as canton hell.

Fun Fact: Dead Beaver on the climb yesterday. Led to all kinds of non family forum jokes for the rest of the ride.

Nice. I always wanted a Miyata back in the 1980's. I had to settle for a Shogun and a Panasonic based on LBS stock and my budget.

Note that I am on the Census website. The Consumer Price Index is published by the Bureau of Labor Statistics.

Are you seeing if Cazenovia added any new people?

I wanted a De Rosa but the frameset was about $1400. Instead, I got a Tesch frameset for $700. That was in 1991. I got a Trek 660 with Ultegra in 1988 for $800.

Fixed, possibly. I think we called it 600 or 600EX back then. Yes?

There are a couple in the garage back home. They’re touring 512s or something like that, though, not sporty.

Wrong. Google says 600 begat Ultegra in 1987. My error.

Fun fact: "Ultegra" was derived from "Ultimate Integrity."

Maybe they can change 105 to Modegra for "Moderate Integrity."

it is indeed a fine groupset, the groupset for the people.
