Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Ethical dilemma: To wit, whether or not to rat the sweet Haitian lady who cleans our area at work out to her bosses for repeatedly and insistently failing to wear a mask properly, despite being reminded and showing knowledge of guilt by hastily putting it on every time I come by.

One approach: Pull her aside and tell her you are going to rat her out if it happens again. A couple of years ago I caught my admin vaping in her cube. That's how I handled it.

Is she near you or anyone else whilst the mask is not on properly?

I'm not sure. I mean, 6 feet is the rule, masking is the rule, and being competent and doing a good job, is also the rule. If it makes you uncomfortable, then you have to decide which of those are applicable.

If she's otherwise a good worker, not completely flouting the requirement (no mask), and most people there are vaccinated, I probably wouldn't fuss over it.

There's no smell to vaping, is there? Believe me, I don't know and I don't associate with those idiots, er, young folks.
