I confess, I'm thinking very uncharitable thoughts about how that bike came to be at that place in the hands of that seller. The butt-dragging pants with the inside-out underwear is an especially nice, subtle touch. And yes, I. too, hear "Dueling Banjos" playing in the background..

The whole tableau comes under the heading of "you can't make this stuff up."

Some one needs to explain to these homeless guys, that even if you didn't steal something, but traded fair and square for (leaving out the human trafficking's violations that Methanie has endured), selling stuff that someone else stole is a No-no......

On the Facebook marketplace you can check the sellers other for sale post and profile. It helps a little if you've already profiled them...

This is just an optical illusion created by the disconnected wheel leaning against the bike, but my first thoughts were of a forgotten, revolutionary BioPace rim prototype.

Also, these are how a lot of the ad titles look before I edit them for clarity.

FIRM PRICE ONLY Indoors Outdoors Competition Bike Nashbar - Ture Alpha 5000 Sig - $250 (Chandler, AZ)

Sellers really shouldn't rely on G***le Street View stills for their ad photos..... (Or is this MSN maps bird's-eye view?)

Years ago I saw a bike in a parade, the dude had actually built the wheels with progressively longer spokes, from short to long, laced just right so to put the hubs off center. Standard hubs and rims, just some crazy math to get the spoke lengths right. Goofiest thing to watch being ridden.

Two Raleigh Twenty bikes are not unusual, and $300 each is not a bad price, but the Pedal Partner tandemizer is the wacky part.

I think sitting on top of a pool table is kind of wacky.

I'm wondering what clever machinations are behind the right handlebar grip facing the wrong way.

A snooker table would have been more appropriate, I suppose.

I just can't imagine going through all that trouble to make such an outrageous chopper frame and then painting it in the most conservative way possible!
