They probably couldn't afford an equivalent to the World of Coke after hiring Michael Jackson in the '80s

The weirdest that I’ve seen is late model Colnagos. I ride a 53 by old steel frame standards but would need a Colnago 48 to get a proper TT length. I owned a 50 a few years ago and it was too big for me.

Speaking of which, I only recently discovered History Buffs YouTube channel. Pretty good.
This one reminded me of coasting. RIP

Ordered $250 worth of club “kit.” I am becoming a real geek very late in life and will look that much more like a fool on the road. Excuse is that it was good stuff cheap.

As a self-professed diet cola soda addict, I'm open to suggestions for quitting. I've tried numerous suggestions from the interwebz to no avail. I find it harder than quitting a three pack a day smoking habit.

I drink the hell out of flavored sparkling water. I used to be a big energy drink person, now I just drink coffee and water. And the rare diet cola, which I think I’m gunna stop that altogether.

I got nothing for soda, my challenge was cigarettes.

In my yute, the soda I drank was mixed with rum.
Now I find it almost offensive. Now I'm mostly a coffee and water drinker too.

- Entrance and exit angles of the wiring holes - sharper bends are difficult, obviously. My Eastons are actually quite good in this regard, and there are wire holes on both sides of the shifter, which is awesome except...
- Shimano routes both the hydro and shift cables on the inside of the lever, which makes hole size and entrance/exit angle much more important. I tried to run the hydro cable first and then thread in the shift cable housing, but that was a no-go - too tight. I had to install the hose and then tape the shift housing to the hose and wrestle them both through.
- Because of the bends involved, you may only be able to thread things through in one direction. In my case, it was not the easy direction - I had to go from the levers to the calipers. Even is you're just replacing the bars, this means re-routing the entire run.
- Don't be a dummy like me - getting housing and hoses connected and situated on levers that are already connected to the bars is a fool's errand. Give yourself excess length, connect and then wiggle/push the cables/hoses until the lever is in place and can be fastened.
Oh, this reminds me - my club's excess kit, the stuff that we sold back to Twin Six, is on their website, now. So if any of yous wants to be a prestigious CAT6er, now's the chance.

I quit my 3 pack a day smoking habit, 30+ years ago. My wife told me if I ever started again, she would buy me cigarettes for the rest of my life. I guess I was a bit of a "Richard Cranium" while withdrawing, cold turkey.
