Thanks, everyone, for your helpfulness. As a new member (through I've been watching this thread and others for a few months now), I've felt very welcomed. Hope I can repay the kindness in the future. I've got a plan in place to have the bike picked up, boxed, and shipped. If I'm lucky, it may even arrive by Christmas. And if not quite then, we've got plenty of winter left in Michigan for this project. And I'm closing in on 10 posts, so maybe I'll even be able to post a pic by the time the bike arrives!

$750 for titanium isn't a bad deal in this market.

https://seattle.craigslist.org/see/b...234529399.html

Merlin titanium triathlon tri ti carbon fiber -Quintana Roo Aerial 7 - $750 (Seattle)

Merlin Titanium built the Aerial 7 for Quintana Roo in 2000. The picture is bike I am selling. This was a pretty radical bike back then, and it still looks modern today. This one is in excellent condition, although the decals show some wear and the downtube decal is missing from the non-drive side. The bike is tuned and rides great.

This is a case where I'm almost positive this thing would have sold already if he'd have taken off the Girvin FlexStem and whatever that suspension seatpost is, but it's hard to argue with $200 for Tange Ultimate Superlight.

Price drop! Immaculate Steel Hardtail. Novara Pro Ultimate Tange Ultimate Ultral - $200 (Seattle/Tukwila)

Even more impressed with the way he rode out to that gorgeous spot for the pics without using pedals.

Funny, I'd buy it and use the flexstem, hang onto the XT stuff and sell off the rest. lol. It's gone, btw.

I've been watching that one too as I have/had that frame in other sizes. If I'd noticed it was down to $200, I'd of probably reached out to the seller.

Seems like the market south of seattle is way thinner this holiday season than others. Usually there's a few people trying to get money, but there hasn't been anything on T-towns listings that I've seen.

Not vintage, but a modern mixte with 7 speed Nexus IGH and matching paint fenders and rack. I am tempted to buy it for the wheelset to build up an English roadster, but probably not at this price.

Public M7i - $500

Nice frame for $100 nevertheless, plus some bonus components. Likely could talk him down a bit?

Interesting, had not heard of Mirella before seeing this ad. Seems overpriced at $395, but that may be my ignorance of the marque at play. This one has seen a few mods based on the spec sheet the seller included,
