I'm with you on the habanero sauce. I'm rocking Sontava XXX:
No vinegar, and habs are the first ingredient.

Mid-week guest tonight. Good friends from out of town. Tonight's menu...Apple and raisin stuffed pork chops, roasted root vegetables, spinach salad with toasted walnuts, grilled sweet corn, bacon and gorgonzola cheese. An appropriate wine. Finished with pumpkin cheese cake. My recipes, my creations, My calories.

Lots of turkey sandwich eaters in this thread. I wouldn't put hab sauce on mine, but I might put some datil-pineapple jelly. It is SO good and SO hot and is a local product. Datil pepper are considered to be slightly less hot than habs, but have a much better flavor. That is a very accurate description.
A friend of mine came over to make his hot chicken dish and he put three whole habs in it and we both agreed that it wasn't hot enough, so we added a tablespoon of the datil-pineapple jelly and it became perfect!

Boring night for me since I didn't really feel like making anything.
Bowl of leftover chicken, barley and mushroom soup.
Two pieces of toast with peanut butter.

1 cup brown rice, 3 cups Japanese blend vegetables, 4 oz Pork Chop, 800 calories.
1/2 cup Yogurt, 1/3 cup granola for dessert, 200 calories.
Got 29 calories left for today, but probably won't get used.

Turnip greens and a brat with sauerkraut for dinner. One scoop of lime/ginger ice cream from a local maker for dessert. WOAH!
And I bought a bag of basil at the farmers' market on the way home. I am going to make Gary's pistachio pesto soon. It sounds awesome.

Two "heavy-duty" pancakes and two eggs for dinner.
With butter
and syrup
I totally freaked out about food today, my diet has to get reconfigured... I'm nowhere near the protein & potassium levels I need.
One of my girl friends chewed my out about it - I expect it'll improve by the by.
