What do old people ride, lets see your bikes

I bought this bike as a project to rebuild as my wife said she was interested in easy rides around local parks. This hasn't worked out so I've just sold it.
I did try it out and found the riding position very relaxed so I've decided to look for a similar old school man's bike as a project to add to my stable.

I DO love riding this specific bike. It feels just right! I feel the road, I know the gears. I've had this bike longer than my current wife. ( Glad she doesn't read B F.)

Just turned 55 this weekend. My main ride is a rigid single speed 29r (Kona Unit) which I beat myself up on 3-4 times a week in the mountains here in SoCal (and love every minute of it)

Meet Kermit, my Specialized Expedition Sport Low Entry. I've been riding almost daily for eight months. Started with a Walmart edition Schwinn Landmark cruiser, which was given to me by a friend when she moved and couldn't store it anymore. My son gave me the Specialized for a birthday/Mother's Day gift, and I love it!

This is my daily driver, an '83 Univega mixte, heavily modified. Here it's loaded to the gills on the day I started my last
tour across western Washington & down the Cranberry Coast. The other is an old $15 Giant(?), Motorized for when I get
too arthritic to pedal. I ride it less than 2% of the time, just something to fall back on when my old injuries get the best
of me.

I've updated my ride since my last pic...new handle bar tape, new saddle, and new tires (Continental 4000s II). Bike weighed in at 19.8lbs.

The green MTB is a K2 Sport while my commuter/cyclocross/century ride bike is a Nashbar CX1. Not pictured is my daughters old Fuji bike with metal baskets and rod holders on the back for fishing the Cape Cod Canal. Ride the canal looking for breaking fish stop cast then repeat. When I retire in two years planning on buying a carbon road bike.
