That's my size. I stand 6' tall. I am continually amazed at all the tiny bikes I see posted around. Who rides those things?

Maybe small people? Pretty sure there are a lot of those still in existence. Is there another point or question in your post?

Me. At 6’. No chance I could ride a 24.5” frame.

Depending if you see it as just another CAAD5 or due to the paint shop as an interesting part of history that is worth collecting. This is the 9/11 limited edition that came out in 2002. I found some number on the internet that the series was limited to 1,100 frames.
Available for auction in SC.

A 1988 Trofeo in Argentin paint with non original wheels. the $650 price seems a bit high to me but I don't know just what these wheels might worth used.

Caro? Not sure who built this FR frame but aside from the god-awful rust it has some good tubing (Vitus 971 frame) and "interesting" mix of mainly good components.
But then there's that rust!
https://sfbay.craigslist.org/sfc/bik...439969376.html

sorry but this NDS view is the only one of the full bike, but lots of detail pix in the ad
Asking price of $200 seems over-optimistic but maybe this is somebody's grail, somebody who really wants a project!

Other than the saddle and consumables, that’s stock original. Might even be original cables though I think they were a darker blue if I recall.

Looks like it sold for 500. Was that a good price for it? Think it went cheap? What do we think retail on this bike is?

Yes, Very good price! That is less than the frameset alone is worth. As I mentioned though if you dont live in AZ you have to add $4- $500 extra for shipping + Tax + commission fees

This step-though Paramount is older than the listed mid 70s judging by the cottered crankset (I think it might actually be a mid 50's P61 in looking at the frame and crankset, although the decals are later, so...). It also almost certainly does not have 650b wheels --the only Schwinn single bikes with that size to my knowledge were middleweights. It also clearly does not have campy hubs front and back -- the rear is a 3 speed -- probably Sturmey Archer.

Regardless, it is very, very cool. Track dropouts for the 3 speed, great chain guard, wonderful lugs and fork crown. Needs some tlc (a proper saddle for starters, plus a proper set of mudguards), but looks pretty nice as is -- if i were even remotely local this one would be very hard to resist, even if my DW doesn't think she needs another bike!
