My co-op has some in the case. The case is for items that go for more than the usual crap kept in boxes, tubs, and buckets.

I suspect I’ll be going there at some point this week. If so, I’ll check on ‘em in case you haven’t found a pair by that point.

I posted this over in the MTB ISO/FT thread and then realized that I was probably barking up a ridiculous wall - AMP Research forks are already so far removed from anything "modern" that I'm better off asking here:

Have:
An AMP Research F1 threadless 1" aluminum steerer fork. Nice overall shape. Not perfect, but presentable. Steerer is 168mm from crown race to top:

Want:
Same fork, but with a 1" steerer tube that's around 30cm taller (~200mm). Can be threaded 1" too. Willing to trade the entire fork or swap the whole upper assembly. Would even consider parting with the lower fork assembly too, as I intend to build a shorter fork for it (as you may have guessed from the pic. And if you're wondering what on earth I'm up to...build thread).

Please PM if you have something.

-Kurt

ISO Campy Braze On Triple Front Derailleur

Found one, @hazetguy to the rescue. Thanks.

Looking for a Campy braze on triple front derailleur, 8 or 9 speed. Good condition, no rust.

Like this these:

Campy made them for a number of different gruppos. Doesn't matter which one.

Pending trade!

Apologies for cross-posting in the for sale thread.

I've got an "ochre" Brooks B17 in good, barely broken in condition I'd like to trade for something narrower. Looking for a Brooks Team Pro, Swallow, or Cambium C15, preferably All-Weather. Would like something in similar condition, so I can throw in a couple bucks to make up any difference in value if it's a Swallow.

I have a pair of decent Raleigh levers that are yours for the cost of postage (and consideration if I need a part or two in the future). The levers are quite clean, the hardware - not so much.

Kurt, do you need a 700c fork or a 26" fork? It's hard to tell from the photo.

EDIT: looks liked it's 26" in that thread.

It's 26", but I'd swap the whole thing for a 700C fork with the right steerer length. It doesn't really matter either way, given that all I need is the longer steerer. The fork blades will be replaced with a custom 20" fork with laser-cut mounts for the AMP hardware.

Need a Stronglight spindle ,125 mm, for a Stronglight 93 triple on a Peugeot PX 10. I broke off a bolt in my spindle making it useless. I have a lot to trade.

Any way to use something like this to try to get the bolt remnant out?

These are nearly unobtanium - it might be worth it to take it to a machine shop to have it drilled out and have the threads chased/tapped.

I found a 121mm Nervar spindle in my stash. Might work with a couple of spacers if you can't find the Stronglight.

Thank`s for the replies. Yes they do seem to be scarce. There is one on eBay for only $169.
I had another model 93 crank set that was a double and I did have a 118 mm Stronglight spindle in my bin. The buyer of the bike is happy with the double I installed. I will give him the triple crank set as well as the 125 spindle with the broken bolt. Hopefully he will be able to have it fixed. I will share the advice I received from you guys with him. Best I can do.

If for some reason he doesn’t use the 125 spindle, please refer him to me, I’d like get it and try to work on it. Thanks!

I'm sure you could buy a new Phil Wood cartridge suitable for a Stronglight triple for less than that.

EZ-Outs

Crank arm bolts are hardened steel maybe up to 40 Rockwell C.

There are a number of ways to remove the broken off bolt: an EZ-Out type of screw extractor, a left hand drill bit and other methods including chemicals and EDM.

Here's a brief hammersmith video on how to use an EZ-Out:

+ 1. Stronglight spindles in that length are really tough to find. Velo Orange is having a sale but the longest one they have is 122 for a symmetrical axle. Ditto with IRD BBs (122 is the longest I think). You can get an SKF from Compass Cycles in 126 mm but that is may be too short as it is symmetrical and the price is astronomical.

I'm looking for a 21" Trek Multitrack preferably lugged but will also take a tigged frame. Pain t co dithion is unimportant as long as there's no dents or heavy rust.

MultiTracks are easy to come by,but not in 21" and definitely not lugged.
