2017 Trek Domane SL 6 Disc
This bike is an absolute dream to ride. I upgraded to the Montrose Pro Carbon saddle and the ISO core bars. Weighted in at 19.04lbs.

2015 TREK Domane 5.2, Zipp 303's, Conti 4000GPs, Profile Design clip-on TT bars, Ultra 12-25 11 speed. I live on the coast so no real climbing but lots of wind hence the aero bars for when it's really honking.

Here's my Trek Domane 5 series frameset upgraded from 2014 Madone 3.1
Heard this will be the last Domane 5 this year.
Seems like Trek won't favour Domane SL frameset like they do in Emonda...

Let's get a bit classic:
1978 Trek 710 frame, full 531
Dura-Ace derailleurs
105 brakes
Shimano 600 "arabesque" crankset
homebuilt whelset-Shimano Exage hubs (freehub),
Sun Mistral aero tubular rims,
Challenge Forte tubulars
Brooks B17narrow saddle
classic Look Delta pedals
Weighs in at just under 20 lbs
very fast and rides like a dream!

Lots of cool looking Trek bikes in here! Here is my Madone on top of double peak in San Marcos from a few weeks back.

After selling my mint 2005 Trek 5200 2 years ago I have recently had the itch to get another similar steed, so the search began with local CL & Ebay. I found this '99 Trek 5500 and got it. I believe and after review by one of the members of the 2000 Trek team I do believe this was originally raced / ridden by Kevin Livingston in '99! I will be finding period correct parts for the most part to get it back on the road for a Sunday or special ride. Frame itself is in great shape as only a few light scratches in the blue paint and nicks in the decals here and there that I can definitely live with, who knows this frame could have helped pull Lance up some of those hills at the TDF as Kevin was one of Lance's favorite climbers from what I have read.

Well after finding all the parts I wanted for it, at least for now, I built it this morning!
I sneaked a 7800 dura ace running gear on it rather than the 7700 9 speed stuff which I think will be a bit nicer ride but still have the pretty much same look with all the silver and exposed shift cables, dura ace seat post, Cinelli 101 quill and bars, if really should have Rolf Vector Pro's but with my weight I didn't want to worry about spokes when far away from home so I picked up a set of the Rolf Comp's as I have the same wheel on my LeMond and it has served me well. Not going to ride it at least till next weekend as I found the same bike but in a 54 last week for the wife and want to wait till hers is here and up and running.
