Were you guessing, I didn't see any shoes sizes?

Edit: Just saw 38 on one sole and 40 and 41..........

I'm out

New Albion Privateer local pickup DFW

Not a vintage bike but steel and I think would appeal to many of us. 54 cm but looking at geometry probably rides like a 56. Includes a couple hundred dollars worth of racks and extras. I was watching and just was sent offer of $400. Great deal!

If you follow the link to the listing and enlarge the photos, a number of the sizes can be seen on the boxes or on stickers to the shoes. Everything I saw was 38 or 40. That equates to 'Merican men's sizes in the 6 to 7 range.

Edit: hazetguy beat me to it.

People must hoard 42s in vintage with cleats. I can never find them. Somehow my red and white Lakes from the 80s disappeared and I was looking for some...

Thats a nice lot.

Its not one of the Cinelli Equipes that was 1985. This one i suspect is a few years newer than stated because in about 1977 they moved the Professional from being made in Mexico (Windsor) to Japan with Tange tubing. and this is a Tange bike.

I emailed the seller and suggested he list the shoes here. Probably enough people here would want to buy individual pairs of the better quality ones for a reasonable price😁

This is called a "Bicycle" and while it's not C&V per say, I included it because it's in remarkable condition and since I didn't see a eBay/Craigslist for older road racers. I'd say worth more than $220, but then I do drink.

Koga-Miyata RoadTourer size 66

The Hague, the Netherlands, asking price €200 - Marktplaats

This is essentially the rim brake version of my Koga-Miyata SilverAce. A triple butted chromoly frame with an IGH, fully enclosed chain guard and cantilever brakes.
The RoadTourer was available from 1994 till 1996 and this is the 1996 version. Which was also the lightest one with a brochure weight of 16.9 kg (37 lbs), including fenders, lock and rear rack.

Strip some of those parts down and you can have a pretty nice pathracer.

As always, paging @RiddleOfSteel

I'm in the same boat as you; I don't know!

The down tube says "Triracer by Sport Alpi", but that had no hits in Google. Assuming the 600 Ultegra crank is a replacement, this could be a rarer import from Europe. Nonetheless, it's using 650c wheels, according to a friend who looked at it.

People really seem to like these bikes though I'd only ever bought them for the 600 group sets, when you could get them cheaper than this!
Anyway, this one is in very good shape, looks hardly ridden if someone is looking. Only scrape seems to be just above shifters.

Was sure I posted this before at $100 but since now it's at $60 which isn't bad for a 531 frame (I believe forks weren't 531) so here it goes again

I paid more for mine. $60 is a steal in my humble opinion. These ride well and are nicely appointed with the cyclone mechs. Double butted 531 main tubes, with hi-ten everything else. Nicely finished and lovely colorway. Ride punches above it's weight. Clearance for big tires with a 700c conversion. Good all rounder. If it was closer I'd grab it, no hesitation.
