Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Lol ok I guess. I would think POC glasses look more "athletic" than oakley lifestyle/non sport options. If you want an all around pair of glasses then don't get athletic style oakleys.
I wouldn't wear my jawbreakers off the bike because they are meant to be worn on the bike. But, I do wear my Holbrook off the bike. They don't scream athletic at all.

But we all have our reasons.

Purple...was on sale for $100.

Have a pink one too. And a black/fluo giro synthe. I've crashed the air attack and the atmos now, so I won't wear them again. Came down on my noggin pretty hard in both of them.

I love the kask protones, but haven't found a color I like at a cheap enough price to pull the trigger. $250 on a 4th helmet seems a bit silly.

My last crash involved a cat that sprinted out in front of me. On a side road in the evening, with a car behind me and one coming towards me, the little guy sprinted right towards my front wheel. Nothing I could do but grab a handful of brake and hope for the best. He ran away, I went over the bars and landed on the curb. Had a big ol' scuff on the helmet and a hematoma on my side the size of a softball, dislocated collarbone, and two bruised ribs...

I'm pretty sure I got a pretty sweet deal on the blue one's too.

I can't remember what they were tho.

I really should check out the shop again to see how the bigger lenses look on my face.

Just got a new 2015 Focus Cayo Disc 4.0 to replace my Diamondback Century Disc. Got delivered yesterday and I assembled it after work as I was pretty excited to check it out. After drooling over it for several minutes, I took it for a real quick ride. Not sure how I feel about the Fizik Arione R7 seat that came with it and the SRAM Rival shifting is different than I am used to, but initial reaction is that I am very pleased. Really looking forward to testing it out on an a long ride this weekend to really develop an opinion.

A spare tube for the FX's 700x35 tires, two "irons" (I'm going to go ahead and simply call them levers, because I feel silly calling them irons when they're made of plastic ) and two of the most compact Bontrager pumps.

Also got two Bontrager saddlebags for the Shift and the FX big enough to accommodate the above, plus a multitool kit. I just never cared for mounting solutions that have the pump stick out to one side from under the bottle cage; aside from being an open invitation to sticky fingers, they just look hideous. So barring a more elegant modern-day solution like the one on my old Raleigh (a pump with a spring-loaded handle that allows it to fit snugly between two opposing frame tubes, and looks so discreet as though it might as well be part of the frame, drawing little or no attention,) this was the next best thing.

Picture with the chain on the bike would be cool. I like the valve caps although others may not. I have red ones on my Tarmac and not sure what the color is on my F2. Looks good @ARPRINCE

Yeah I think it would look nice as well. I just got the chain today so would probably install it on the weekend. Thanks!

I like that color. Sharp.

I have a C-Dale, myself. Red and purple aluminum frame , Ultegra components, Ksyrium rims (well, when not commuting on it), Terry seat. I love it.
