After our daughter’s wedding, my sister and sister-in-law came down to the hotel restaurant for breakfast in their pajamas. My wife and I looked at each other with WTF expressions.
Neither of them were/are hot enough to pull that off.
I don’t get it.

I’m so going to the airport in my PJs tomorrow, sans shower. Flip flops too. And I’m going to call everyone I know to wish them happy holidays like I was front row at a Metallica concert. Will report back!

I used to fly a lot for my work. Automation for sawmills.
Took 3 sets of clothes:
1) work on machinery clothes.
2) talk with mill management clothes.
3) ride a bicycle clothes.
Flying out I was almost always in set 2. Flying back it was a toss up between set1 or set 2.
When I left the company I had enough Frequent Flyer miles to take my family of 5 to Israel.
Dress code? My employer was paying full fare for my seat. No airline would say boo. That was a lot of years ago, and flying was not fun then. Just easier because no one flipped out about my oscilloscope and other tools.

I rarely fly, but am always willing to pay a bit more for a direct flight. Layovers suck donkeys!

I've seen that sort of thing. A lot of people don't get that when you're at a hotel, "Home" ends at the door of your room, and "The rest of the world" starts immediately on the other side. Then again, I've seen young women out in the world wearing pajama pants. As the Wicked Witch of the West pithily observed, "Oh, what a world, what a world!"

Interesting. Maybe he misread which it was. Either way, we’re boarded. Though they took away my perfect 1A seat because one of your coworkers is heading home. At least it’s short.

Day one of Festive 500 is going well. My beetroot juice joint is shut for the holiday, so I figured beer is the next best break time beveridge. Handed the barkeep my card and he said this one's on me, Merry Christmas and fistbumped me. Must be cuz I'm rocking the Ireland jersey...

I wanted 1A because then I have less mental pressure from people around me.
And we’re landed, but now waiting for the gate. Eking out the steps…
And the approach sucked quite a lot.

We can get fiber that supposedly guarantees 1gig everywhere in the house but my wife is so used to Comcast that she refuses to switch.
