This is my main beast - Cannondale Killer V-500. I had posted pics of this a couple years ago but photobucket is doing that thing...
First pic is some home-brew panniers I made a few years ago. Second pic is the updated version with Arkel Orca 45 panniers, new bars, new saddle, and Schwalbe Marathon tires.
I also have a Brodie that's being rebuilt, so no pics of that at this time.

I probably have one of the most, er, unique bicycles here! 
I bought it on Craigslist for $70, put another $70 worth of mods on it, then added a few accessories: econo speedometer, headlight, tail light and rack bag. All total I've got about $195 in it. Luckily for me the original owner had put Bontrager 1.5 inch hybrid tires on it that were like new when I got it. It came with the rear rack already installed. It had straight bars, and I switched out the handlebars because I need to ride more upright.
I bought it in June to get started riding again, and so far I am loving it! It fits me well, and I've put over 475 miles on it already in less than two months.

Thanks, TimothyH. I expected to get a comment or two, but "That thing is great!" wasn't one of them.
It definitely works for me, though, and I'm thankful to have found something that does for such a reasonable price: +/- $200 - including mods and accessories.

LOL!! Tim, I know it looks weird and I'll admit I had my own reservations about it when I first saw it. But I can honestly say it's the most comfortable bike I've owned. The way it's designed, there isn't any pressure on your sit bones.... you kind of lean back with some but not all your weight in the saddle. Even in the drops which these bikes didn't come with... I added that.

I'd ride alongside you and ask about the bike if I saw you riding it.
Clean too. The silver/yellow is on point and I love how the saddle matches. Totally needs yellow grips.

As you would see from my specs, I am currently riding a Raleigh Venture 4.0. If I took a picture there would be those that would say "Hey, that's a Venture 3.0, not a 4.0.". Well I didn't decide to get a bike until late June this year. Our LBS didn't have a 4.0 in my size (XL) on hand so they were going to order one. However, it was too late in the season and there were none left. So they took a 3.0 frame they had on hand and built it with 4.0 components.
So far it is doing the job - "job" being defined as giving me exercise and getting me turning the pedals. How long it will be before I want something more (enough to do something about it) remains to be seen.

My Marin I bought last month.
I've extended the goose neck since the photo was taken.
I use the water bottle holder for a large can of wasp spray incase I get into trouble. Our public officials changed our city into a sanctuary city against our wishes and there's all kinds of trouble now!!
I transport it with el Camino..

Over 70 - At My Age, Wife Only Allows 4 Bikes
Here's my Trek Madone 5.2, full Dura Ace with a PowerTap on a ride in Palm Beach FL. Better than sex. Well, almost.
