So - I am a little confused. Are Shimano GRX 810 cranks hollow bonded or hollow forged? Can't seem to find that info anywhere online.

I don't have one of the cranksets in hand, but based on the picture, I'm not seeing any indications of bonding lines.



The spider appears to be single layer, as are the chainrings.

Being marketed for cross and gravel, it wouldn't be surprising if it is actually hollow forged for extra durability.

Maybe not even hollow:

The weight savings for GRX is already on the smaller chainrings to look good in the specs.
