Addiction 2021.3

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I'm working Saturday so I thought I would go to stoney creek metro park yesterday, haven't been there in a couple years. Some decent hills to train on. Ah... I see now what has been lacking.

So last week I swapped out the Token B.B. for a factory Dub unit. Still makes the random ticking noise. It's a strange sound, sounds like plastic micro weld breaking loose.
next I repacked and adjusted the headset. No bueno. Still does it. Tonight I am going to clean and regrease the seat post and saddle interfaces. And Stem /bar interface.
It's a tough one. Only does it mostly when peddling. But in conjunction with bumps in the pavement. If I coast over the same patch It's dead quiet. Unless I put weight on the pedals. I really hope it's the seatpost.....

I told the nurse about my running. She did a good job hiding her admiration.

Dumb to have events of things that people don't do in real life.

Some do. Not everyone runs or rides a bike.

But, I agree. They should have synchronized walking from the couch to the fridge events. You know, something every one does.

My kids did synchronized swimming for several years when they were younger. They did it for fun, they clearly were NOT olympic caliber.

Where, apart from the Olympics, have you ever seen two people synchronized diving? It's not an NCAA sport.
