Addiction 2022.1

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

I got about 4 inches but it’s freezing rain now. Treacherous. Going to wait until later to shovel, keep the freezing rain off the paved surfaces.

They just don't think rationally so it's hard to make them understand our needs.

For the doctors here. My wife is two months pregnant, and recently has started to really get worried about covid. She’s worried if she gets covid it could cause issues with the pregnancy. I don’t know how to ease her anxiety. I wear a mask at work, but I cannot not go to work.

Risk for badness quite low even with pregnancy if vaxxed/boosted.

Remember the old TV commercial where the guy painting the football field spells "Chiefs" "Chefs"? I think it was for Southwest Airlines.

Well...Guys last name is spelled "Esch", not "Ecsh."

Did not catch that.

When this weather system passed through the Midwest, it petered out about a county or two away from us and we only got a couple inches. After Illinois, it went berserk again. You’re welcome, TN, NC, SC, etc.

lol no. I moved here to get away from this crap. I also can't really get the bikes too dirty anymore since I keep them in the living room. Those are my excuses anyways.

Bummer. I wish I could say I could try and help you out but I think our entire Cervelo allocation for this year is a single Aspero
