Addiction 2022.2

Notices
Road Cycling “It is by riding a bicycle that you learn the contours of a country best, since you have to sweat up the hills and coast down them. Thus you remember them as they actually are, while in a motor car only a high hill impresses you, and you have no such accurate remembrance of country you have driven through as you gain by riding a bicycle.” -- Ernest Hemingway

Unfortunately Bucees is an East Coast thing, with nothing west of Interstate 35.

Well technically the Elizabethtown, TX location is west of the 35, but...

We all but finished the painting today. And a few hours later got the first rain of the season. I always look forward to rainy seasons season, even though it brings a lot more work.
And then six months later I always look forward to the dry.

I didn't know of the first two. I drive through Dumas on my "commute", but figured it was too high-brow for this crew.

There's also a Sudan. And I missed that it's Winters, not Winter. And it looks like it's Iraan, which is interesting.

Yes, Iraan. Spell check got it and I didn’t catch the change.

Except . . . Paris, Texas is northeast of Dallas and is a green as can be. It’s nowhere near the desert.

It even has a popular bike rally: https://www.tourtexas.com/destinatio...s-texas-events
