WTB - 26’ MTB Fork
Hello Everyone,
I am looking for a higher end 26’ rigid Tange/Spinner/etc MTB fork, threaded, 1 inch, with about 6 inches of steerer tube. I am expecting to have to repaint so any color is fine (a nicely painted black one would be utopia). Love to see what you have and thanks!

what axle to crown length are you looking for? Soma makes one but it has a long a to c I have one on my1993 serotta atx and it is 425mm a to c. it makes for a goofy look on my bike. I found a vintage fork with around 400-405mm that I am thinking of installing.

I have a blue smoke Diamondback fork, but not sure of length or model. IIRC it wasn’t from one of the fancy models.

I have a RockHopper frameset cracked around the Bottom Bracket hanging in my garage.
Fork is fine. It's an XL (22in?) frameset, so the fork might be long enough. If a RockHopper fits what you need, I'll get measurements and photos. Let me know.
cheers

Thanks but I agree it will be most likely be too long for my medium frame. Appreciate the response!

- you're welcome. If you strike out, check with your Local Bike Shop - they should be able to cut it to length and cut the threads. Not sure what a typical cost to do that would be. 30 minute job.... $500 tools that rarely get used.... $75 ?

Any chance there a nicer chrome prestage tange or switchblade in the pile.
