Broke my sram quick connect when I did not ensure the inside locking pin was on correctly, and it snapped when I was going uphill, several links stretch a bit, so I decided to just get a new chain.

How do you like the Bryton unit?
I have been using the Garmin RTL 515 and it integrates well with the rest of my Garmin “ecosystem.”
After a couple of close calls while riding on PCH I decided to get the Garmin RCT 715. I just set it up, so zi will use it on my next ride. Now at least if I get killed out on the road my wife will, hopefully, know who to sue. Grim consolation, I know.

Thanks. I have read lots of good things about the Bryton unit.
Is there a volume control for the beeps? With all the road noise it is probably not as annoying as you might imagine.
safe riding!

No volume, but you can turn them on or off via the menu in the Wahoo unit. I'd suspect other computers would also have this function.

Under Seat Steering to Linear
Hello all,
I'm new to this forum and don't know how to post a question. I only see an option to reply to a running thread. Advice welcome.
My question is, can you change under seat steering handle bars to ones similar to a linear recumbent, where the handlebars are slightly above the hips rather than below the seat?

The original Wahoo Elemnt I bought way back in 2016 that my wife has been using is having issue keeping a charge. Decided to pick her up a Garmin Edge 130 Plus since she does not need all the bells and whistles. Along with that, I got a Garmin puck for the K-Edge mount on her bike and a cover.

Oakley ARO5 MIPS in size XL -- discounted after the release of the newer ARO5 Race model -- to continue my quest to try all road helmets available in this hard-to-find size. Bonus: available in two colors in addition to white and black. Kudos to Oakley.

Bling for my Spec
Just mounted an Elite group on my highly modified Retrospec “Spec” that includes rear saddle mount for bottle cages, a pair of cages, tool storage case & a stainless steel bottle. I’m a newbie so, can’t post a pic yet.

I really needed to raise my seat post about half a centimeter on my Gen 4 Domane, but doing so puts me right at minimum insert and that makes me a bit nervous, so I ordered the longer 320mm version. I hate the brand propriety parts, but what are you going to do but shell out the cash for it. Just stupid the 54 and 56cm frames come with a 280mm post. 58 and above come with the 320mm

I like me some Sidi shoes, but just hate the cost of them. The last pair I purchased in 2007-ish, were $275, but they lasted 10 year, and in great condition, but I wanted some new shoes so I sold them on ebay and a bidding war happened and I ended up getting 240 for 10 year old shoes.
