Bike Fit East Bay

Anyone know where to get a good fitting in the East Bay. I am looking at getting a new road bike and really want to get set up on it right to avoid injuries on long rides. I am in the East Bay but not opposed to travelling. However, i don't want to go somewhere where they just try to sell you new parts. I understand if its necessary, but getting a new bike, really not interested in changing out 10 parts. Thanks everyone

I've heard good things about Montano Velo but don't know specifics about their fitting.

I had a great experience at Spokesman in Santa Cruz.

Montano Velo will give you a quick and honest fitting w/ no upsell. I've been going there for years. They're typically only booked a week or two out with fittings. Maybe busier since it's the middle of summer.

Livermore Cyclery. The one in Livermore, not the one in Dublin. Ask for Steve Howard (the owner). Great guy, knows his stuff. Reasonable prices, not the cheapest, but a bargain for his level of knowledge and skill.

San Francisco, but this is the place that does custom fits for Calfee (my Lottery bike).

+1 for The Spokesman in Santa Cruz. Not the East Bay but worth the drive.

Can't really call Santa Cruz East Bay, gents ;-)

I little off the wall, but I've had great experiences with Jeff Jerge at the Pedaler in El Sobrante. Reasonable prices, not too flashy, but he knows his stuff. Love the rest of the gang there, but I'd only get a fit from Jeff.
