Bike Weight
I don't know why I was thinking about this earlier, but I was, so here it is. How much does your bike weigh? Please, include everything that is on him/her/it.
Lola - 15 lbs.? (I'm guessing here, because I cannot find it on the web - for some reason.)
PDW The Payload Rack - 3 lbs.
Reelight SL 770s - 1.4 lbs. (Rounded up.)
Monkey Light 210's - 1 lbs (Including the batteries in each pack on the front & rear wheels.)
Slime 700c Tire Liners - 0.75 lbs. (I'm not sure if this is each, but I would assume it is, so the weight is for both of them.)
Velo Orange 45 mm Hammered Fenders 700c - 2.4 lbs.
ABUS U-Lock Holder - 0.75 lbs.
Total - 24.3 lbs.
This is only an estimate of everything that is on Lola when she is parked at home, not including everything else get hauled on her (u-lock, Knog lock, tool bag, panniers, me etc).
I will say that I have noticed it is a push to get up hills, but that could simply be due to the fact that I am out of shape (I think). However, it may also have to do with the all the stuff that I have added to Lola, but it is everything we need to get around.

Lola probably weighs about 28-ish lb as purchased, 35-ish lb as outfitted.
Her weight will slow you on hills, but most commuter bikes are rather heavy - it is normal.

Kona Coiler, 37#. 5+" of squish at each wheel, feels and rides great, best bike ever for me. If I'd known how good it IS, I'd have bought 2 frames!
Yup, I do feel the weight going uphill; that's why I have gears. I'm not racing or in a hurry -- EVER -- so I ride at the speed of joy. Some days that's faster than others.

Stand on bathroom scales. That's how much you weigh.
Stand on bathroom scales while holding bike. Subtract how much you weigh from that number. The result is how much your bike weighs. Including everything attached to it.
Round the numbers however you wish.

Too easy; must get weight reading accurate out to 3 decimal points for this weighty problem. Any recommendations for the Ultimate name brand high tech wireless elegant digital scale with an iPhone associated app suitable for this task?

I normally use a high tech digital fishing scale from WalMart.

My 2013 Masi Gran Criteium weighs 21 lb per the web. My calibrated elbow puts it closer to 22. 25 with my minimalist gizmos and seat bag w/spares.

Wouldn't a girl's bike weigh more because instead of just going from head to seat tube the top tube dips and curves to just above the bottom bracket??
