I found a rack, and added it to the Trek 720. Looks like it was made to fit the bicycle perfectly. Really jives with the style of the bicycle .

Removed all the lawyer approved safety and warning stickers, and installed new Ergon GP2 grips/bar ends.

Got my brand spankin' new Giant Escape and swapped out a few parts. Put on XTR shifters, brake handles, XTR v-brakes, XT front and rear derailleurs, and finally some red Azonic O'Neal pedals to match the red trim....whew, I'm tired, LOL.

While riding my Fuji after installing the Ergon GP2 grips for the first time, I stopped halfway through the ride last night to flip the stem back to its more upright position and lowered it by a spacer. This seemed to find the sweet spot between a lower bar and comfort. Before, I had just flipped the stem.

I installed some Ergon gp5 grips on my Raleigh Route 4.0; am regularly getting numb hands when riding, so I have high hopes that these will help.

I typically don't post pictures because I don't have anywhere to host the pics. I don't have an account with anyone lol. I'll snap some pictures of both my bikes and put them up next week if I can figure out where to host the pics. Too busy the next few days.

Really enjoying the new grips with integrated bar ends and new clipless pedals (latter not shown). The combination has boosted riding enjoyment, big time.

I rolled 22 miles worth of tread off the Fuji's tires this morning and then took it to my local Performance Bikes for a free brake and derailleur adjustment since that put me at about 140 miles on the bike since purchase.

Ordered a Cannondale Saddle for my Sirrus.
The stock one is too wide. I think Cannondale makes the most underrated Saddles.

I had an adjustable stem on my bike so I could be sure of what I wanted as far as rise, and decided I was good with a Race Face Cadence stem which I got on sale for about $7. Nice light stem, and even though my bike is heavy because of the amount of stuff attached to it, I like to keep it from being heavier than it needs to be. I am slightly different somehow, either bar angle or slight difference in height, but I actually like it better now.
I love it when I get a bike dialed in.

State of the Bike Address:
Was feeling less and less comfortable with such a high handle bar on my Raleigh Route 4.0, especially after replacing the stock saddle with an Imperial; the bumps were going right to my spine and I was considering several options.........flat handlebar, adjustable stem, sprung saddle, suspension seatpost, new bike, etc. In desperation I flipped my stem over and placed two of the stem spacers above the newly flipped stem, lowering the handlebar maybe 3 inches or more......viola! pain gone!
Now my handlebars are maybe 2 inches above the seat level and things feel really good.
Add ons so far:
XLC mtb pedals (bike shop swapped for free)
Velo O half clips
Imperial saddle
shiny copper bell (is this a sign of Fredliness?)
rear pannier rack
Ergon GP5 grips
Pretty comfortable for my 20-30 mile rides.

removed my isozone handlebars, added a cheap origin 8 handlebar, then added origin 8 drop bar ends and regular bar ends. these, in addition to my aerobars, will have me with loaded handlebars but I will be able to get very comfy.
good riddance to the isozone handlebars. the grips are nice until you add that mickey mouse bar end kit. when the kit is added it removes stability in the grips so they turn a little soft and floppy.
