Too much seat tube or I would chase that Masi. Exactly the model/year I would like to own the most.

As for the Kvale, it's really a pretty bike.

Overhyped and overpriced. Maybe I'll eat those words some day, but there's a reason that the recent production by Handsome didn't work out.

Overpriced for sure, but I would take another one at a decent price.

The one I had was a fun all road bike and would fit into my current dirt road preference just fine.

Handsome would have been better off moving forward, instead of backward.

Their frameset actually builds into a very nice commuter. I've been watching our local CL for one in my size.

Their copy missed the original on too many points to please the loyalists.

And no mention of the Phil hubs. Fortunately, the possible return of a past bike of ours is making us keep a space free.

With chrome fork and stamped DO's, I believe this is not the early 70's version, but earlier and nicer. But if so then it's a mystery how seller got that RD onto it because I thought it took Hurets. Metacortex ?

I loved my SS and would gladly buy a nicer version for $200

It appears to be a '64-'66 model with what looks like a Huret triple crankset (original would have been a "Sprint" double).

But if so then it's a mystery how seller got that RD onto it because I thought it took Hurets. Metacortex ?
A tabbed washer could have been used as an adapter, however since the frame appears to have all the cable stops ground off the dropout could have been modified as well.

I would have tried to get it earlier in the week, but I could tell it's just too big. just to see how close I was with the eyeballing, what does a 32.5 standover equate to in frame size?
