Interesting. My kids would like it, but I’m not sure if I’m ready to pedal for four... ![roflmao](images/smilies/roflmao.gif)

Edit: and 4k is for the frame. Adding Ultegra mech almost doubles that.

I have done Cycle Oregon four times. Between that and some other large events, I have seen a decent number of Co-Mo tandems. The one thing I have never seen is an blah one, much less an ugly one. Sometimes I think they must refuse to agree to bad pain scheme requests by customers.
Best paint jobs I have ever seen. Photos don't do them justice.
Edit: Heh. I was su busy looking at the bike that I totally missed the vagrant sleeping on the bench.![Big Grin](images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

In 2006 when I bought my Gunnar I called it my "old man bike". Triple crank, nice, comfortable ride. Once in a while I still take it out for a ride. I got the Seven in 2012 when I was even older.

Officially deferred to next year's Chattanooga 70.3. Don't want to deal with the amount of disruption from this year.

Took my steel with a periscope out to the desert today. Took some trails I hadn't taken before, a couple of them petered out... I really need to place that order with a new chain in the cart. My pooor rear deraillleur

Ha. Well, to clarify, this is my total budget if I want to maintain a 750 calories deficit. I just haven't logged any food today - I knew that I was going to go out for a long-ish ride and I that I couldn't possibly exceed my budget unless I tried really, really hard to do so (I didn't).

One of the guys on our team decided it was time for a new road racing bike. Wanted the Tarmac, but non-disc. This is nearly impossible. He's in the same boat as you.
Fortunately, he doesn't ride one of the common sizes. So, we were able to get a rim brake S-Works Tarmac frameset and do a custom build.
