You can buy a Dura Ace 12-28 cassette if you don't mind the price and can find one in stock. My wife has one.
Edit: I see that you found that out.

Huh. I didn't even realize that there was an 11-25 option. Vs the 12-25, it looks like they take away the 18t in exchange for the 11t... Hmmm. I'm sure that I use the 18t a *lot* more than I'd ever use an 11t - hell, the 12t is the shiniest cog on the cassette - but I do get over 40 on occasion and gap between the 17t and 19t is pretty manageable within my preferred cadence range..
Oh hell - who am I kidding? It probably wouldn't move the needle much for me, either way. Now if there were a 12-28 available, that'd be a serious consideration.

I have a 14-26 (forget the brand, but nice quality) 10-spd which I got for the Peter Mooney which has a 53-39.

I wonder how many cassettes I'd need to buy to make that happen... I guess that I could take a look at the Shimano docs and see how many iterations of the 17t and 19t there are...
I mean, the price is a big stumbling block, but there's also the Ti construction of the 16t and bigger. How does that wear compared to the steel cogs? For whatever reason, I'm under the impression that it's worse. I actually had a DA cassette back in the 10-speed days, but I never paid attention to the wear rate and moved to 11-speed before replacing it.

You know those mornings when you wake up thinking you've got to go to work but then realize that it's your day off and that wave of calm washes over you?
This morning was the opposite of that

I just purchased an 11-34 cassette for my 716, primarily for chainline reasons.
I have a 12-28 on there right now but I'm almost always in the largest 3-4 cogs when I'm in the big ring, so this will move my typical cruising gears more towards the middle of the cassette.
Also that bike seems to reward sitting and spinning up climbs more than getting out of the saddle. My chainrings are 46/30 so I should be able to climb about anything I find, even out in the Driftless (if I ever get out there)

Ha. I feel ya. During much of the evening, yesterday, I felt like it was Friday and, before going to bed, I had to remind myself that we weren't to the weekend just yet.

Yeah I do use the 13t some but don't really need a 12 or 11t at this stage of my riding.

Gearing should be interesting. It's got the same 53/39 and 12-25 that I used to run on the Ritchey, and I used to climb a lot with that gearing. But I was younger then! Don't think I'll do any LONG climbs with it, but there are some short ones that may be worth trying.
I bought a Fulcrum Racing compact crank which fit the Ultratorque BB fine and Campagnolo cassettes are limited so I got 13-29, which allowed me to climb whatever I want but the 50x13 high wasn't high enough for fast rollers and working descents so I got a Miche 12-29 cassette.
Miche cassettes are available in lots of configurations and are (were) cheaper than Campagnolo or Dura Ace.
Way back I ran 52x42 for years and had a 28 on the back. That wouldn't work now.
