Found - very light 26.0 x 42 handlebars.
Ok, the Klein Quantum II has triggered the weight weenie in me. It's just 3 ozs over 18 lbs and I want it under for no real reason than because. So the handlebars on it suck to me anyway so I'm looking for some old but very light 26.0 clamp x 42cm wide bars with a more compact drop. I know a lot of the 3TTT fit this but I'm sure there's other options. They need to be a decent bit under 300 grams or I might as well stick to some Soma Hwy Ones.
Hit me up if you have anything, thanks!

I like the ITM 260s but they might not be light enough for you.

What stem are you using? Could you switch to a lighter stem/handlebar set up? You could always invest in a quality one piece carbon fiber integrated stem/handlebar and loose quite a bit of weight from the individual parts.

LOL, no that are one of my favorite go to handlebars normally. In fact I just ordered a new to put on the Evans bike as I can't stand the profile of the ones that came with that. I'm just trying to foolishly get the Klein under 18 lbs and from what I can find on weights for the Soma they aren't any lighter than what is on there. Totally makes no sense, I know....

This is a quill stem setup and using a threaded to threadless adapter always seems to add weight over a pure quill stem/26.0 handlebar.

No, alloy. Only spec I could find on Soma's had them over 300 grams. There are lots of vintage alloy bars more in the 220-240 gram range. So there's about 2 ozs. It's all silly but hey sometimes you have to feed the weight weenie monster, LOL!

Right. BUT you said you don't like the shape of your current bars, and since you said you like the Soma's compact bend, you're not going to find vintage 26.0 compact alloy bars. Which is why I said you're looking at vintage compact carbon. Suspect at best, hard to find at worst.

Deda 215's
You can get them anatomic shape, or old-school rounded. Silver or black.
But I don't have any for sale - just bought some myself. Haven't weighed them, but earlier sets I've owned ran around 225-230g

Pretty sure there are some System3 bars at home. Likely 26’s, might be 42’s, might be titanium as they came off a tri bike with other ti stuff.
I’ll check on Saturday and get back to you.

This is what you want. I own a pair, but I don't want to get rid of them. 272 grams, you won't find much lighter in an alloy bar. They make my Cinelli bars feel like a boat anchor.
There's a pair on ebay for dirt cheap right now.

Bought them here on BF of course
I had been checking out ebay before searching here. If you look at the sold items you'll see most of the prices are lower than current offers, so they are out there at reasonable prices if you can wait.

(Palm to forehead) Completely forgot: Have a set of Deda 215’s at home, like new, and they are 42’s.
Shoot me an e-mail if that’s what you want.
