I recently started using a mineral based sunscreen to get away from potentially harmful chemicals used in other sunscreens ...
Applying mineral based sunscreens to hairy parts is doable, but you have to apply more and it's pretty messy and grody feeling
I've been shaving my face before application and it's so much nicer, that I'm considering shaving other areas for the same benefit
the mineral sunscreen also washes off easier from hairless areas

I know a red bike is always faster and I'm certain a yellow jersey will make anyone faster.
I suppose this man/Neanderthal would become more aero if he shaved any part that wasn't clothed.
But for the rest of amateur cycling humanity, the aero difference would be close to miniscule while the dweeb factor might be off the scale.

Pro tip #2: Fill a little hotel shampoo bottle and put it in your jersey pocket. Just enough for two reapplications.

Looking like a "dweeb" is a matter of perspective. When rolling fast and furious with 100 or more shaved racers and ex-racers on my local go-fast group rides, my furry legs make me look like the "dweeb".

perfect. I'll be climbing Haleakela in a few months ... will definitely need some re-application and will have a good supply of hotel shampoo bottles!

The ladies love it!
I shaved my hairy legs when I started racing at the age of 40. I no longer race, but at 63 keep my shapely legs shaved. The ladies love it as does my wife of 44 years. Shave and make the ladies happy!

I haven't shaved my legs in over 60 years, and sometimes I ride barefoot - unclipped, of course. If I want to go faster, I try to go downhill.

Male shaved legs most definitely don't make the ladies happy. Typically the response is "WTF, does that guy shave his legs?" Sorry guys, if you are doing it because you think the ladies like it, you are in for a rude awakening (no matter what your wife thinks).

Lame, lame, lame. Really, really, really lame. The astoudingest quality of lame in the history of lameness. An unparalleled hobbling. Beyond the scale of gait impairment. Like a centipede with 50 limps. Makes a cephalopod look like a tap dancer.

Hey you. Yeah, you. You know who I'm talking to, buddy.
Stop being unpleasant when you disagree with someone. A grownup came into the room a while ago and told you to stop. So please stop. Your tone is a real downer.
You know who I'm talking to, mister.

Ten to one this comment gets deleted as well.

The idea that All "women" I put this in quotes because based on some comments I am not sure some posters here actually know any, and are dealing entirely with internet- and video-fueled fantasies) think or feel the same about any topic is about as smart as thinking all cyclists fee and think the same about any topic.

Actually, it's dumber, cyclists generally feel like they're willing to cycle.
I'm also under the impression that women may be more likely to be intolerant of male hairiness than they were in prior decades. I'm long since past the point where I concern myself with being plausibly attractive to younger women, but I think they're more likely to have an expectation that men's body hair will be groomed and/or shaved.,

Well, apparently if I don't name names, it's not hostile, so I guess I can just say a bunch of reactionary smart alecks posting not so subtle transphobic/homophobic comments is not particularly pleasant to a lot of people reading this forum. And then the "grown up" endorsed a joke that basically said "haha, you're fat." I'm just going to come out and say that was not moderating as I understand it, that was licensing one side to continue trolling.

I try to be tolerant and understanding of the mods because it's a thankless task but they're flat wrong on this.
