LesterOfPuppets said when he was growing up he watched the news (6-7 p.m.) waiting for dinner. So that's what we're talking about--dinner time during the '70s. Or '50s, for some of you.

I must not be being adequately clear; I'd wipe that one out too. Track & field, rowing, swimming, cycling, lifting, gymnastics, speed skating, biathlon, archery, skiing... there are others I'm not thinking of but you get the idea.

Repair of the Day: a guy riding the Erie Canal Trail from Buffalo to Albany cut a tire (44mm WTB Byway). We had some 43mm Panaracer Gravel King SK TLCs in stock. They set up tubeless nice and easy on his Zipp 303s. Couple of other adjustments, a few supplies and he was on his way. Hopefully, he made his destination for the day.

Is shark jumping an Olympic sport?
zero hours of Olympic watching is planned by me.
Why would I watch the Olympics when I could watch Major League Baseball?

I don't like the professionals playing. It's supposed to be for amature athletes. I know ..."all the other countries are doing it" The " miracle " was the miracle because it was amatures against a lot of thier pros. Only a handful of the miracles made it to the NHL. Basketball is primarily professionals. Hockey too. I think it's dumb
