New thermostat needs to be ordered. Same model is no longer made. Must be a smart one. Smart homes can #DIAF.

As with electric, hydrogen is advancing a bit. Who knows if it'll succeed. We can't go electric in its present form.

We're starting tomorrow with a 2300 foot climb, maybe I should get an e-bike after all.

This may come as a surprise to all the Tesla owners I see every day on the roads.

Yes, my home charger is portable and works with both 110 and 220 outlets. Using 110 it takes 3 days to fully charge (not very practical). With 220, it’s about 10 hours. Cord is only about 8’ so have to be close to a outlet.

In its present form, it's not sustainable. There are few enough on the road right now that it's acceptable to the folks that own them. As the fleet grows, the strain will become more apparent, both in precious goods, and on the grid itself. Battery technology must improve in a huge way before they become mainstream. As mentioned above, and in most EV households, there's a gasser back up.

Next bike might have to be a Domane+ HP. That way I could keep up with the women. Probably wouldn’t be able to lift it on the rack though.

Have to take the e-car to the shop this week. Seems they recalled the entire line because a software issue is causing them to lose motive power suddenly and without warning. Reports I read were of cars coming to a sudden stop on freeways and bricking.
