Found this guy perched on the roof this morning. Any idears?
We have a lot of Mississippi Kites in our area, but this looks different. Unless it's a ute.
Sorry for cell, would have taken too long to run back in and get the big cam.

He does look like a sweet one. And Geoff says "Sorry, but it's nap time."
When it comes to cat names, I think a lot of people expect something at least a little exotic, like Dashiell or Mica. People ask me what my rescue cats name is. I tell them he came with the name Stephen and they find his pedestrian human name so funny.

My friend had a cat named Spot. He was a mean bastard and picked on the other cats and the dog, too.
My cat's name is Cavendish because he is a Manx. He's also chubby. My neighbor has a striped cat named Zebra. I feed him daily.

My 20 mile ride this morning was not recorded. I failed to press 'start.' Some years ago I switched to Ridewithgps, for this reason precisely. I open the app and press 'go ride'. The smartasses at Strava require a three step process. I guess they want to make sure you're committed. This faux pas will prolly keep off the podium this week.

Why not just downshift all the way till the FD is sitting on the limit screw, loosen the clamp screw, and pull the cable firmly with Vise Grips while tightening the clamp screw? Generally works for me, if there's no barrel adjuster.

Way back in the mists of time, early in the Pandemic when I started really getting into bikes again, I started out with a hankering to buy a Litespeed Ti frame from the late 90s/early 00s, and build it up. I was after an Ultimate, since I was 230# at that point. I let one on Craigs List slip through my grasp while dithering, and then my interest moved on to a modern CF bike with discs, so I ended up buying the Canyon. And then fixing up the Bianchi with new wheels and bars. And then rebuilding the neglected Cannondale. Then the Schwinn Circuit, the Lotus Supreme, and the Lotus Classique. But I've never completely lost interest in a Litespeed, so I look at the listings on Ebay, which are invariably overpriced.
This weekend, I saw a Classic from the late 90s. Just the frame. $799. I must have clicked "Watch". Today I get an offer for $699. I think that's a good price, given the condition it seems to be in. Shipping is not exorbitant, either.
But do I really want a titanium bike? I'm not a dentist.

Doesn't seem to work and tends to break wires in my clumsy hands.

You may be right. I thought it looked like a Red Tail then I saw this.

I have a shot very much like that one of a BW, except he’s in a tree, just got to find it.
