I actually just sent rapha pics to replace a jersey and they told me it didn’t show enough to prove weight loss. So I circled all of the folds and creases and sent the same picture back and said how is this not too big?
now I’m getting a replacement for 50% off

My first car was a 64 Galaxie. A friend had a 65 Galaxie and his was a 4 speed stick with bucket seats. Big car with the "sporty" theme.

I tend to wear Lucky Brand jeans. The way they are cut fits my @$$ better than some of the other brands I've tried. However, I have found inconsistencies in sizing within in the brand, varying from model to model.

Jerseys are a bigger problem. Some of the XXL jerseys are too tight under my arms. Some of the club fit jerseys fit nice but by the time I try to order a new one they don't make it anymore. When I was bigger it was worse.

You should get a headlight and a blinky there for probably $60 total. maybe a little more if you want higher quality. I've been telling you about this for a while.

Need advice on my 90s Merckx which I've been riding and loving it. Its an 8 speed and the back rim is just about had enough.
Do I:
1. strip all components and powder coat the frame & get new components 9/10 speed and new wheels.
2. build a new set of wheels and keep the old 8 speed.
3. just replace the rim and do nothing else.
or
4. Just hang this bike on the wall as a display piece and get a Ritchey steel frame and build it uo

I’m a lucky guy when it comes to buying stuff for my wife. I can buy her anything size medium and it fits her, like magic. Even when I look at something in the store and think it won’t fit her, BOOM, it fits her. Wouldn’t trade her for the world.

I got scary stories about driving those things on a narrow, curvy highway at night. Sphincter muscle usage like never before.

I think this is a big part of why my Dad ditched his 1968 Oldsmobile 98 for a Citroen DS21 - the road he drove on to get to work were narrow and curvy. And they went up and down a lot. Nice for a smaller car that handles well, or a bicycle, but not so great for navigating a land yacht.

I've decided that this is what I don't like about the Zwift Makuri maps - the rolling gradients just aren't realistic if you consider roads made to accommodate automobiles. The transitions on those maps are so fast that cars would be bottoming out and taking flight all of the time. They're ridiculous.

The road from my small town to Gettysburg, we called the Sick Bump Road, for that very reason. We joked that the Olds went over every bump on it twice.

I'm sure it's climbing was dependent on which engine it had. Those things could be ordered with a huge engine.
