In part it is my fault for forgetting that tomorrow is Thanksgiving. We stopped celebrating that, and Christmas when we left the country. These two holidays are a large part of the reason I got the idea to leave the country. But that is another story. She's going tomorrow, to appease the hosts. I am not, in large part due to the presence of the one year old grandson and the "cuteness factor".. Also, eight is a bigger crowd than I like to be a part of. Covid or no.

My wife is such a good victim. She got her flu shot today and they told her no alcohol for three days. They told me nothing of the sort when I got mine a few weeks ago. But I'm being blamed nonetheless, because I and another friend encouraged her to get it done.
Does alcohol make the flu shot not work? Or cause any other bodily function issues. I wish I coud say I'm asking for a friend

Never heard that one, but Mrs. GeneJockey's doc did suggest she not get her COVID booster for two weeks after her shingles vaccine.

Update on scheduling my disc diagnostic test. Called twice since yesterday and left 2 messages. Result? Bupkis. I am losing faith in this place. Very odd consultations. I don't think they want to do the procedure.
I could write a book. It would have lots of profanity in it.

Yeah, if it’s Moderna and the effects are addictive, that could make you pretty sick. Can’t think of any immunological reason.

I advise separating any shot by a week or so, to let your body’s systems recover. It’s not medically necessary, but it’s a matter of kindness.
