With a chain prep for wax, I’ve read all of the steps and have a question for you. Have you ever used a citrus degreaser instead of mineral spirits? What about the last step with a solvent like acetone? My preference is not to use harsh chemicals I can’t dispose of.

I tried a citrus degreaser once. Smelled ******g horrible, gave me a migraine, and didn't seem terribly effective in this application - maybe it was just the brand/type that I used, though. I've only used mineral spirits and DNA, since. FWIW, on the MSW chain prep instructions, they do mention both citrus degreaser and acetone as alternatives - https://moltenspeedwax.com/pages/clean-your-chain

Every year at prep school we had to sing a couple of songs for parents weekend. One year one was Sloop John B. by the BB. My Pavlovian response is to immediately change the station if it hear it on the radio. I hated it then and hate it to this day.

WTH. When does something like that ever happen? I could see if the cook punched him in his tits and stole his porn. But c'mon. Tossing grits and eating corn?

Mrs John is the Queen of words to me. She plays Words With Friends online, It's similar to Scrabble. There used to be a Soul Food restaurant near here where if you beat the owner at Scrabble you could get a free dinner. We ate there but Mrs J never got to play her, she was rumored to be pretty good.
