Squirrel is the preferred meat for Brunswick Stew, but if they're too fast for you, chicken also works.

I’ll never forget when my sister first went on hospice and was in a care facility, the hospice nurse asked her what she could do to make her more comfortable, happier in her last days, etc. and she wanted two things: the first was tomato soup and the second was access to the smoking area more than once a day. The hospice nurse asked the facility nurse why she couldn’t have tomato soup and the nurse said it was because she was on a low sodium diet. As for smoking, it was a rule that clients only had smoking access once a day no matter who they were. My sister was in her last couple months of life and in fact, lived about a month after going on hospice.
The hospice nurse got her orders changed to 24 hour access to tomato soup and/or tomato juice and was given the door code to the smoking area.

Turned out to be some dry salami and some leftover Palak Paneer with leftover Persian flatbread, which isn't as good as naan, but will do in a pinch.

I'm so glad we never have ice cream in the freezer. Quite possibly my all time favorite food. As an aside, here in Tixkokob it is not possible to buy 'ice cream' with any dairy product in it.

Got the last one my source had.
While riding across the U.S. a few of us happened upon a pheasant rode kill in North Dakota. The blood on its beak hadn’t even dried yet. One woman wished we had a way to transport it so we could cook it. Alas, we plucked some tail feathers and attached them to our bikes. Mine blew away in camp during a heavy thunderstorm.

More unsolicited advice datlas
Get yourself a pour over coffee maker. They are inexpensive and I like mine better than my French press. Just as easy to use and maintain. Enjoying 700ml of smoothness this morning.

I see your point. Just an open field in a park with a walking path. We were under a tree and listening to Casey Kasem from may 1978. 80 and low humidity. I don't like throwing this word around but it was sublime.

A lot of the people I usually ride with on Saturdays drove to Santa Barbara to ride there. The weather is nice here so I stayed local and rode with club #2. We started with 19 riders and clustered together at a good pace on the flats leading into the hills. Once on the first 5 mile climb we split into smaller groups. I was in the second group on the road and one of them said "You must be the senior member of this ride" or something. I said "I'm 68". "Whoa" he says. I didn't mention there was a guy in the front group only a couple years younger and he was way ahead of us.
One of the strong women went to the back to sweep and make sure nobody got lost. About half the group turned back at the top of the first climb but the rest of us went on to a 3 mile descent and another 5 ish mile climb which was steeper than the first. By the time we reached the top of that climb sweeper lady had almost caught us. Impressive, considering we gave up waiting for her at the first summit. After we turned around we stayed closer together for the rest of the ride. Fun ride with very friendly group.

I was dropping off the Canyon at my LBS to replace the creaky press-fit BB, and ended up engaged in conversation. I mentioned the Litespeed and the other customer asked what year and model. I told him and explained that a big guy like me needs something like the Ultimate. He said, "You're not that big." Nice of him to say. I think he was surprised when I said I weigh 205. He was a little guy, said he weighed 70 lb less. So I'm like him, carrying another half of him.
