Is there a good reason why in a pace line someone might choose to constantly ride on my inside, front wheel is about where my cranks are. I’ve ridden with this particular person quite a bit recently. Whenever he is behind me I find that he eventually sneaks up on my inside. Almost like he is trying to steal the wheel enfront of me, but he never goes for it. I find it disturbing , because if I have to maneuver it only leaves me room to shift into traffic.
Havnt said anything to him yet, just wanted to hear y’all’s thoughts. If there is a good reason then so be it.

Last week, I was buying some Conti Grand Prix tires (not 5000s) from PBK for the Battaglin and Ritchey, and I figured, since I don't have a spare 25mm GP5000 for the Litespeed (always have a spare!), I'd buy one of those, too. $55. I looked around for better prices than they were offering and didn't find any, especially once shipping (free from PBK) was factored in.
Today, PBK is selling them for $44. Son of a b****!

Learning to ride slowly (80:20 training) on popular cycling routes has been a great challenge and a maturing experience for me.

I need 4. 2 32mm and 2 25mm. I could get by with 3. 1 32 mm and 2 25 mm but it doesn’t really solve my problem.
I don’t want to pay for them.

Old Town Scottsdale can get pretty hairy on weekend evenings and most days during snowbird season. There's pedestrians and folks on electric scooters all over the place. Probably best to be learning those streets on a Tuesday morning in the dead of summer when there's nobody on them.

Your shorts aren't worn to transparent, are they? Could explain why he doesn't want to be directly behind.....
