In the 90s I lived in a small community in the mountains and they had a small fair every year. It started with 4 skydivers dropping in. One of them had his shoe come off when the chute opened. It was so weird looking up and seeing that shoe spinning and then landing in the street with a loud slap.
Anyway I pigged out on fair food including a funnel cake the size of a Frisbee. A big Frisbee.

Dunno, man. I can't really get used to the idea of chartreuse. I'm having enough difficulty with the "Saffron" long sleeve jersey I bought. It just seems so...visible.

Tuesday ride went ok. Felt pretty crappy at the end and I think it's the anti-biotics I've been taking since the oral surgery. It's pretty hot again and it's supposed to be over 110 this weekend.

We've had an exceptionally temperate Spring and Summer here in the Bay Area - very few days even in the 90s on the Peninsula. But it looks like Fall is starting off hot.
