versus meaningless posts clogging up the forum.
I guess asking new members to participate some before posting photos is asking too much? We've all had to do it and this is a first where someone has posted empty thread starters to get their count up. At least I've never seen this before.

“if 6 turned out to be 9, I don’t mind. If all the hippies cut off their hair, I don’t care.”
I certainly don’t know, but the OPs behavior reminds me of someone who thinks “The culture here is a PIA. I just want to join then be the center of attention.” Ugh. A shame we get so many of these.

As is often noted, you can upload without 10 posts, just not attach them to a post. There are many helpful members here that will post a picture uploaded to your album if you have a question that is better asked with a picture.

Notice that your post count has receded back to two. The moderators are removing these threads. It’s ten posts not ten threads started.

Oh, I don't know... how about commenting on current threads like, "Hey, that's a great-looking bike you have there.", "I remember when I had one of these ______.", "That looks like a great setup.", "Awesome bike build!", "That looks like a great ride and workout!"...

That sounds like the vast majority of registered members. According to the membership list, 62% of the registrants have no more than one post. I have no problem with giving free advice. My prime reason for joining the forum was to share my knowledge. While the odds say that the OP is likely in it only for this bicycle, you don't if that will be the case or not. They could become a regular contributor.

I used to go all in with these and try to explain and welcome them to the process, 9 times out of 10 it was to little avail and more recently it results in escalated pushback for them expecting free access and succinct, immediate evaluation for their recent uneducated acquisition.
They don't care that we hope to learn just as much as they do, simply don't have crystal ball and can't get there much without their input and participation.
Again, this guy seems absolutely certain that he shouldn't have to be bothered with a simple process that could have been completed in half the time he's wasted already.

This has to be among the best forums I've ever participated in. Hard to understand the dissatisfaction.

I find the ten post minimum to be an interesting qualifier and as an English major, find the stories written by the usual suspects to be really entertaining. We learn so much from each other and it is such a small price to pay to be able to post images. If you’re going to post a rant, at least make it funny!

Upload some photos to a photo hosting site and put a link. And in the mean time, read some threads that might interest you and just make some comments or ask questions that may cross your mind. It's easy.

Pretty sure you're not allowed to post URL's <10 posts. Sure, you could probably manipulate it enough so it's not recognisable as a URL, but still.
The only way around the 10 post rule is to become a paid member, I believe.
I'm also slightly annoyed this thread has had more responses than most of the threads I've started.
