Newbie in need of help!
Hey guys 👋 new to the forum so be gentle lol.
Had my first track experience today at Lee valley velodrome ( track taster ) and absolutely loved it. Getting back into cycling after about 7 years off a bike so to say I thought i was dying is an understatement lol.
Anyway id like to get my own bike.... A starter bike will do, something just to get me going and cycling regular again. Happy to sell on after I gain some experience, get fitter ect and upgrade. But want something track focused for the velodrome. Can you guys advise me on what bike / bikes I should be looking for please. And also what size ( I'm 5"8 with 32 inch inside leg )
Thanks in advance for your help.

Pretty much any basic aluminum frame should be fine: Felt, Specialized, Dolan. Fuji all come to mind. As for size, it's not a bad idea to size up from your road bike, though track frames at the entry level tend to mimic road geometries, so it can be a bit of a crap shoot. What size did you ride at LVV?

So they put me on a 58... Which didn't feel overly big but according to his chart I should be on a 55

If you felt OK on the 58 and had no issues with standover, then that seems like a good option. Or find something in between, like a 56 or 57.
